About The Position

will consider first-time travelers License : Must have an active MD or Compact License Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Availability to visit the lab within the first 4 days (96 hours) after signing the contract- Willingness to float within the hospital based on need and within the scope of experience- Two satisfactory professional references from the most recent employers : 1 supervisor / manager and 1 charge RN Job Description : Work in a Medical / Surgical Unit with a self-scheduling system- Participate in every other weekend (EOW) rotations- Average daily census of 30 with a 30-bed unit- Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 / 6- Patient diagnoses include multiple medical and surgical conditions, specifically pulmonary, neurology, cardio, gastroenterology, renal, GU, endocrine, orthopedic, and more- Required to adhere to a policy of submitting any known background information during application for review- Return staff must have been away for at least 6 months- Orientation entails 24 hours non-billable time Additional Requirements : Candidates need to be comfortable floating to different areas within the hospital- Flu vaccine is required, with no exemptionsPlease note that due to the document requirements and timeline, meticulous attention to the submission policies and initial requirements, including any requested time off (RTO), is imperative.
