Senior Manager, Product Development

Overview

Job Purpose

We seek a talented, creative and technical individual to join our corporate and product development team at ICE Clear Credit.

You will be crucial in creating innovative, market-leading products and driving existing and new business opportunities. Your role will involve working with the ICE team to conceptualize, design, test and launch new products and services, building relationships with end users of ICE products through collaborative education and training, and promoting the ICE Clear Credit business internally and externally by ensuring key stakeholders have transparency into the business performance of ICE Clear Credit, its competitors and its customers.

The ideal candidate has a background in developing and supporting risk management, banking, trade processing and management information reporting solutions in a highly regulated financial services environment, while also being passionate about the hands-on support of customers and developing an understanding of their needs and use cases to inform improvement of the ICE offering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including colleagues from technology, risk management, operations, sales and legal and compliance departments to define cleared fixed income financial instruments, business processes, risk management solutions, user interfaces and reports.
• Create and manage project timelines, ensuring critical milestones are met throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct research to identify customer needs, best practices, regulatory requirements, market trends and competitive landscape, to inform product design.
• Develop prototypes for quantitative methodologies and algorithms, and work with user experience specialists to create graphical interface designs.
• Ensure existing and new product and services remain in compliance with evolving regulations.
• Monitor, on an ongoing basis, the business performance of ICE Clear Credit, its customers and competitors, and create periodic internal and external publications describing key metrics and trends.
• Coordinate with the sales team to provide periodic business updates, participate as a product expert in sales calls where necessary, and provide product-specific meeting materials.
• Manage and produce product documentation and user guides.

Knowledge and Experience

• College or advanced degree with a science, technology, engineering or math major.
• 8+ years of experience in a product development and / or corporate development role at a financial services institution serving the fixed income market.
• A logical and analytical approach; high level of numeracy.
• Strong technical skills, such proficiency in Excel / VBA, SQL, Tableau, Matlab, Python, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional written communication skills including use of Word and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
