Job Description
MAXISIQ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at Quantico, Virginia with work anticipated to start in October upon award.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement mission-critical systems
- Provides Audit Log Management, windows patch management, software development
- Ensure systems meet strict security and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, network engineers, and cybersecurity specialists
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Qualifications
Required Skills :
- Active Top Secret clearance minimum
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and security best practices
Desired Qualifications :
Microsoft server and workstation certifications
