Insurance Verification Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to support their growth in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with onboarding new patient referrals and verify insurance information for home infusion therapies

Negotiate with third-party payers and reverify patient accounts monthly for accurate billing

Document patient account information in EMR and communicate changes to branch personnel and patients

Required Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred

Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare provider's business office or hospital setting

Experience with third-party health insurance plans or plan administrators preferred

Knowledge of government health insurance plan benefits and reimbursement regulations preferred

Experience with healthcare patient accounting, billing, and collections applications preferred
