We enable brands to develop, launch and grow products to improve customer experience (CX) and their business in the Amazon store worldwide.

We achieve this by building self-help tools, recommendations, business impact, customer preferences, and trends leveraging customer feedback.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our BX initiative. This role will build and develop products and self-help tools for worldwide brands to help them improve CX and grow their business.

The Principal Product Manager will own the vision and long-term roadmap, and drive teams to execute on that vision. Responsibilities include setting the direction for the portfolio of products / offerings, defining goals, prioritizing features according to customer value, preparing launch, and identifying go-to-market strategies for the portfolio.

The Principal Product Manager is a bar-raising communicator, both verbal and written, and is a well-respected leader within the business.

This role requires the ability to influence across stakeholder teams to drive alignment and requires a highly effective and established leader to navigate effectively and develop the team.

Clear articulation of complex problems and proposed solutions is essential, along with high judgment to ensure the right leaders are involved in decisions and regularly informed on progress.

This role aligns teams towards clear priorities and advocates for investment delivering large, complex business initiatives, with clear mechanisms that audit progress towards shared goals and regularly reports results to ensure long-term business success.

This leader collaborates across VP-level organizations including Return and Recommerce, Amazon Catalog Systems & Services, Amazon Customer Experience Teams, Amazon Selling Partner Services, and Amazon Private Brands to join forces on shared business priorities.

As a Principal Product Manager, BX in the team, you will :

  • Identify opportunities to improve Brand Experience on Amazon and translate those opportunities into products.
  • Mentor and guide the product managers and program managers in our organization and hold us to a high standard of product, technical rigor, and excellence.
  • Design and lead roadmaps for complex self-help tools to help brands while creating long-term value for our shoppers.
  • Work with our engineering partners and draw upon your experience to make the right trade-offs, unblock them, and build synergies between multiple tech and product teams.
  • Be responsible for communicating our innovations to the broader internal and external teams and community.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
  • Experience as a product manager or owner.
  • Experience owning technology products.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
