PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Aircraft Mechanic II C-26 performs the full range of FAA A&P based aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and modifies aircraft Avionics and Electrical system components of moderate difficulty.
Performs all scheduled and unscheduled Avionics / Electrical system aircraft maintenance, preflight and post flight inspections, installs navigation and communication modifications.
Troubleshoots and repairs anomalies and assist electrical engineers with solutions to STC based modifications due to aircraft variances or tolerances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Remove and install aircraft avionics / electrical subsystem assemblies and assist maintenance personnel with components such as engines, seats , flight controls, panels, wings, windows etc as required.
Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services.
Perform scheduled inspections and special inspections.
Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required.
Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment.
