Asphalt Plant Laborer - Portable Asphalt Plant

Position Summary :
Seeking Individual to perform various duties around an asphalt job site which include general laboring, equipment operation, and routine maintenance.
Must be dedicated and willing to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality of safety standards. Must be willing to travel within Kansas as portable work demands.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist plant supervisor with the daily operations and upkeep of the job site.
- Operate site machinery such as skid steers and front-end loaders in a responsible and safe manner.
- Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in MSHA policies and procedures manual, and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications :
- Front End Loader and Skid Steer experience preferred.
- Knowledge of welding and general mechanics preferred.
- High school education or GED equivalent.

The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
