We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our interdisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in one of the following areas : Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, or Organ Transplantation.
Responsibilities :
- Design and conduct original research projects in the respective field, either independently or in collaboration with other team members.
- Develop and implement advanced computational models, algorithms, or experimental protocols to address complex research questions.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical and computational techniques.
- Prepare high-quality manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present research findings at conferences and seminars.
- Contribute to the writing of grant proposals and progress reports.
- Mentor and supervise junior group members involved in research projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external research groups, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations.
Qualifications :
- D. degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas : Computational Biology, AI / Machine Learning, Organ Transplantation.
- Strong programming skills and experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, C++, MATLAB).
- Proven record of research accomplishments, as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with big data analysis, machine learning techniques, or computational modeling.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases.
- Knowledge of organ transplantation procedures, immunology, or regenerative medicine (for organ transplantation-related projects).
- Prior experience in grant writing and project management.
