Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting within the mammography department Position covers both Bryan and College Station locations, floating as needed Department operates two scanners / rooms at both sites with Hologic equipment Exam types include screening and diagnostic mammograms, needle localization procedures, with potential for stereotactic biopsies Average daily caseload is 15-18 scans or studies Uses MEDITECH EMR, MAGVIEW, and SYNAPSE PACS software Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with some shifts starting at 7 : 00 AM for procedure coverage No call, weekend, or holiday requirements Main responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, needle localization, and assisting with specialized procedures First to float between the two campus locations as needed Radiologist is in-house and scrubs are not provided; required scrub color is black, with pink optional on Wednesdays Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit facility including CHI or Dignity Health within the past year Candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered Call-outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination Requirements Minimum 5 years of mammography technologist experience Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required Current BLS certification required Texas Radiologic Technologist license (TMB) required License required if applicable Experience performing needle localization procedures, with potential for stereotactic biopsies Experience with MEDITECH EMR preferred Must provide two professional references : one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years Submission requires a copy of driver’s license Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612525.
