Infrastructure Engineer

Job Title : IT - IT Engineer - Infrastructure (Mid-Level)

Pay rate : $37.33 per hour

Duration : 03 months

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Torrance, CA

Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

We’re currently hiring a Global Infrastructure Engineer to work with Global IT Infrastructure engineers at Life Science platforms responsible for deploying, configuring, managing, and monitoring of IT on-premises and cloud infrastructure including disaster recovery planning and security compliance.

In this role you will assist in escalated incidents, problems, request management, and project implementation.

This role is located in Torrance, CA the second largest suburb of Los Angeles County. Torrance is nestled along the beautiful Santa Monica Bay and just a 19 minutes’ drive to the Los Angeles International Airport.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Discover and analyze regional business requirements
• Generate, Deploy, and Integrate solutions using standard IT tools and processes.
• Provide level 3 and 4 engineering support of deployed environment
• Engineer and perform complex Infrastructure migrations
• Support and maintain on-premises Infrastructure servers and cloud hosting
• Provide Updates to Regional Business and IT Team on Infrastructure Roadmaps
• Global Infrastructure Design and Architecture
• Global Infrastructure Server and Hosting Migrations
• Build and Automation of Global Infrastructure Server and Hosting
• Global Infrastructure Monitoring and Optimization
• Incident Resolution, Patching, and Performance Tuning
• Routine Infrastructure cost and efficiency analysis and enhancements

Minimum Qualifications :

• 1+ years of Data Center and Infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years of IT Infrastructure Servers & Network support experience.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Enterprise Stack (Administration, AD, ADFS, DFS, GPO, SCCM).
• 3+ years of experience in Hyper-V or VMware Infrastructure.

Key Skills and Attributes :

• Microsoft Certifications, MCSA, MCSE, MCP
• Azure Certifications, e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Engineer, or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with configuring Palo Alto, Silver Peaks and Cisco Meraki networking devices.
• Preferred Industry Certifications - CompTIA; Microsoft, Cisco, DELL, etc.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required
