H2O Innovation is calling all mechanically inclined people who love working on a broad range of projects, the Fabrication Specialist position is for you.
Our next colleague will hold a permanent & full-time position at the Champlin, MN plant. You will be asked to perform a wide variety of assembly tasks and will learn maintenance technician and millwright skills.
The day-to-day :
- Mechanically assemble pipes, equipment, instruments, and valves to frame structures with fasteners ranging from 10-32 to 1 diameter bolts and equipment up to 50 lbs;
- Glue PVC pipe assemblies ranging from ½ to 12 pipe diameter;
- Measure, cut, drill, and tap steel frames and PVC pipes;
- Cut & thread stainless steel pipe;
- Respect the project timeline;
- Ensure a good quality product by using your attention to detail;
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;
- Respect and follow safety regulations.
The skills we are looking for :
- Three (3) years of related work experience;
- Ability to read technical plans;
- Personal tools is a plus, but not a must;
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous;
- Be organized, rigorous and meticulous;
- Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients.
