Allied Resources is seeking a Solar Construction Manager for project execution of multiple small to large-scale solar utility projects.
This is a direct hire job opportunity located in the Greater Richmond, VA market that offers a salary up to $140k, strong EOY bonus, company truck, per diem, and comprehensive benefits package! Must be comfortable with a 90% traveling position.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the project schedule as it relates to permitting, material purchase and delivery, and the construction process.
- Ensure deliverables are met including capital need assessments, contract documents, schedule of values, submittals, contracts, applications, and permitting.
- Execute, oversee, and optimize the pre-construction specifics of multiple portfolios / projects.
- Verify constructability, and resource allocations, assess field status of projects, and resolve issues as needed.
- Assist with project engineering plan design review, evaluation, and implementation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Solar PV Construction.
- 5+ years' experience in a Construction Manager / Site Superintendent level position.
- OSHA 30-hour (required).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in renewable energy (preferred).
- Associate's / Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (preferred).
