Administrative Assistant to GM
Summary
TAMKO is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work at our manufacturing facility in Knoxville, Tennessee.

- Greets and conducts visitors to appropriate area or person.
- Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.
- Conducts research and creates reports.
- Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail.
- Leads new employees through onboarding training.
- Liaison for plant employees with corporate HR.
- The POC for community events and requests (Community Goodwill)
- Plans, coordinates, and executes company events.
- Tracks, orders and maintains adequate office supplies.
- Liaison for various vendors (uniform, janitorial, pest control, etc.).
- Follow-up with cross-functional teams across the company to gather information as needed.
- Fills the role of Plant Safety Coordinator Conducts TIMS inspectionsConducts safety briefs for visitorsCoordinates and meets will all plant safety teamsPOC for Corporate EH&S (Sandra Potter)Creates safety reportsBriefs safety each morning at the Plant GEMBA meetingCoordinates and leads annual hearing exams
- Completes environmental administrative duties.
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- College degree is preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
- Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities.

Pay Range
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience.
