Litigation Attorney - Auto Defense - Lucrative Bonuses
Join our prestigious law firm with a strong history since 1946, dedicated to providing top-notch civil litigation services.
We specialize in various legal domains including insurance coverage, employment law, and premises liability. As a Litigation Attorney focused on auto defense at our Livingston, NJ office, you'll bring your expertise in automobile defense litigation to handle cases efficiently from inception to trial.
Your role will directly impact our continuous success by managing cases that cater to a diverse clientele across multiple states, benefiting from a hybrid work model designed to promote work-life balance.
Compensation : $110,000.00 - $150,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Handle a diverse caseload involving automobile defense litigation, guiding each case from inception to trial.
- Participate actively in trials, demonstrating strong litigation abilities with a minimum of 10 jury trials experience.
- Develop legal strategies and lead negotiations to achieve client goals within cost-effective parameters.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals to ensure comprehensive defense strategies.
- Meet a monthly billable hour requirement of 165 hours, focusing on optimizing productivity without compromising the caseload quality.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in NJ.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automobile defense litigation.
- Demonstrated experience handling auto litigation cases from inception through trial.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with multi-district litigation and large exposure cases is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of representing the firm in legal and business settings.
- Prior experience in a law firm with a similar client base such as insurance carriers and self-insured entities.
