We are excited to bring an opening for a player coach role to cover our West Coast Commercial Card Portfolio. This role will have a team reporting to them while also contributing as a Commercial Card Payables Consultant.

Responsibilities :

  • Achieves sales and other targets established by business plans.
  • Continuously assesses and improves work processes for sales and service management, risk management, and compliance.
  • Optimizes opportunities through deal teams and sales calls.
  • Influences the strategic direction of the line of business.
  • Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values and strategy.
  • Builds interdependent teams that collaborate across functional and operating groups.
  • Attracts, retains, and enables the career development of top talent.
  • Improves team performance and manages poor performance.
  • Delivers reliable activities in instituting cross-selling initiatives.
  • Provides deal structuring expertise.
  • Identifies issues, gaps and process improvements through communication.
  • Collaborates to generate ideas and identify client solutions.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor for business decisions.
  • Recommends business priorities and advises on resource requirements.
  • Advises on sales strategy based on market understanding.
  • Coordinates the management of databases in adherence with data governance standards.
  • Leads change management programs.
  • Manages the risk of the assigned complex portfolio.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and ensures adherence to policies.
  • Acts as the daily sales contact for the client.
  • Provides assistance to the team in pre-sales activities.
  • Tracks implementation requests and internal reports.
  • Maintains current client information.
  • Operates at a group / enterprise-wide level as a specialist resource.
  • Implements changes in response to shifting trends.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Influence skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Able to manage ambiguity.
  • Data-driven decision making - In-depth / Expert.

Salary : $120,000.00 - $222,600.00

Pay Type : Salaried
