Overview

The Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving the sales efforts of the organization. They are responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to enhance sales performance.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements to meet revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to manage customer interactions, keep records, and track sales activity.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to the management team.
  • Participate in sales events, trade shows, and industry exhibitions to promote the company's products and services.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, competitors, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Adhere to company policies, sales processes, and compliance standards in all sales activities.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in sales, business development, or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close sales and agreements effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales productivity tools.
  • Sound knowledge of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and customer-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proactive and adaptable to changes, with a continuous learning mindset to enhance sales skills.
  • Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior to drive sales strategies.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach and a strong sense of accountability and integrity.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required for client visits and sales activities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Certification in sales or related field is a plus.
