NASC GLOBAL is partnering with a reputable client seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for their 2nd shift operations in Alexandria, KY, 41001.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Must Have Required Experience : 2 years of industrial maintenance experience and / or industrial maintenance education.
Must have experience with PLC. Must have experience in food manufacturing or manufacturing industry. Compensation : Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $52,000 - $70,000 commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities : Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, including scales, dumpers, mixers, cookers, chillers, slicers, packaging machines, conveyors, palletizers, and pallet wrappers.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and read blueprints, ladder logic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to enhance systems and processes.
Repair and modify facility and production equipment with precision techniques. Analyze and resolve equipment / system failures using root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for maintenance activities. Safely perform work in accordance with company policies, including lock-out tag-out (LOTO) and other safety protocols.
Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and planners to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Maintain a strong focus on customer service within a team-based environment.
Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or relevant education. Proficiency in troubleshooting computer / PLC controlled equipment, motor control systems, servo motors, and 3-phase industrial electrical systems.
Mechanical knowledge including gear reducers, chain / belt drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to perform mathematical calculations and fabricating / welding skills are a plus.
Basic understanding of OSHA regulations. Working Conditions : Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. Work in varied environments including wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions, with temperatures as low as 40 degrees.
Stand or walk on hard floors for 8-12 hour shifts. Must be willing to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
