Dabri, Inc. is looking for a skilled Project Scheduler to join our team and support the Department of Public Utilities in San Francisco.
This full-time, in-person position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant public infrastructure projects.
Project Scheduler- Department of Public Works
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in program and project scheduling with P6, with project experience in utilities.
As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain detailed schedules, track project progress, and identify potential delays.
Your role will be crucial in coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring project milestones are achieved. Must be able to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather project information and update schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present schedule reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any issues affecting timelines.
- Ensure that project schedules are aligned with project budgets and resource availability.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of schedule changes, delays, and progress.
- Assist in the development of project timelines and milestones for proposal submissions and project planning.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of proven experience as a Scheduler
- Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or other license preferred.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
