Hourly Pay : $28.40-$42.60

Position Details

• Position Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
• Shift : Full-Time Nights (7p-7a) with Weekend Rotation
• Augusta, GA 30909

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, your role is crucial in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients.

You'll be a key member of the interdependent team, responsible for achieving positive patient and unit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, treating, and caring for laboring mothers and newborns.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to protect, promote, and optimize health, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering, and advocate for individuals and families.

• Possess knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care, considering physical, psycho / social, educational, safety, and related criteria.
• Contribute to nursing practice through Shared Governance, unit meetings, surveys, and communication of ideas.
• Consider safety, effectiveness, cost, and practice impact when planning and delivering nursing services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing : Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and / or hold an active Compact / Multi-State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.

Compensation

• Minimum : $28.40
• Mid : $35.50
• Maximum : $42.60
