Job Details :
- Weekly gross $2,700
- 12 hour shifts (Variable to meet facility needs)
- 13 week assignment
Key Responsibilities : Patient Care : Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and symptom management.
Care Planning : Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
Monitoring : Regularly assess residents' conditions and respond promptly to any changes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, care provided, and progress towards goals in compliance with regulatory standards.
Medication Management : Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while adhering to medication safety protocols.
Education : Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques. Collaboration : Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
Quality Assurance : Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in long-term care.
Emotional Support : Offer emotional support to residents and their families, fostering a compassionate and empathetic environment.
Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, including initiating CPR and notifying appropriate personnel. Qualifications :
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on facility policy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
