Glide - Relaunch USA Returnship: Senior Auditor - Senior AVP
Glide - Relaunch is an eight-week return-to-work program, or "returnship", that provides the necessary resources to support and accelerate your exposure at Wells Fargo after being on a current career break of at least two (2) years.
- The professional role(s) below have been set aside by the business division(s) in anticipation of their Glide participant filling that position.
- During your eight-week returnship you will spend 80% of your time focused on work directly aligned to the role within the business.
- The remaining 20% of your time consists of a program manager-led, cohort curriculum experience that includes skills refresh, engagement with program graduates, and senior leader networking opportunities - giving you the chance to learn from successful Wells Fargo leaders who will share their expertise and knowledge to help relaunch your career.
Following successful completion of the program, participants who meet performance expectations may be offered full-time, benefit-eligible roles directly following the returnship.

Program Expectations :
Must be able to commit to full duration of 8-week returnship program working a hybrid office schedule, from September 9 - November 1.
Conversion to full-time employment is based on performance over the 8-week returnship. Conversion decisions and processing will immediately follow the returnship beginning on November 4 without a break in service.

Wells Fargo is seeking Senior Auditor - Senior AVP for our Glide - Relaunch returnship for the Internal Audit business divisions with the teams and locations listed below, with key skills needed for each team.

In these roles, you may :
- Perform audit testing components of assigned audits within multiple segments of the Audit Plan
- Plan and execute independent audit testing and ensure that they are timely and accurate
- Identify and assess key risks and controls
- Execute and document work in accordance with Wells Fargo Audit Services policy
- Identify and develop compensating controls that mitigate audit findings and make recommendations to management
- Inform manager of situational issues that might compromise objectivity or independence
- Design and execute tests to verify control effectiveness
- Document work papers according to the standards of the Internal Audit policy and guidance
- Demonstrate professional skepticism while performing major components of audits
- Lead smaller scale audits or projects
- Develop ways to improve existing audit practices
- Develop effective test plans for engagements as assigned with limited guidance
- Participate in projects as directed
- Develop business partnerships within Internal Audit and with teams companywide through professional communication and clear audit deliverables
Required Qualifications :
- 4+ years of Audit, Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, education
- Rejoining the workforce after taking a current career break of at least 2 years

Internal Audit : Wealth & Investment Management team
Key Skills :
- Experience at a financial institution or accounting firm
- Certification in one or more of the following : CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation
- Experience in portfolio management, investment strategy, broker / dealer operations, wealth management, fiduciary and trust services.
- A BS / BA degree or higher
- Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting tools
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
