Clinical Insurance Authorization Specialist - Must Reside In Texas

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Clinical Insurance Authorization Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate insurance authorizations for iron infusions and other infusion related treatments. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, payer communications, and patient account management, with specific experience handling iron infusion authorizations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor insurance authorization requests, with a focus on iron infusions.Review and resolve payer-related issues to ensure timely reimbursement.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to gather necessary documentation for authorizations.Contact insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain approvals.Maintain accurate records of authorization status and follow up on pending requests.Address patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance, and payment plans.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, federal, and state regulations.Recommend accounts for collections or write-offs when necessary.Process refunds for credit balances in accordance with regulatory guidelines.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
