This position can be based out of our Louisville, CO; Portland, OR; or Redmond, WA office.

As an integrated member of Otak’s marketing and communications teams, you will coordinate and develop various visuals for our social media accounts, website, and marketing materials, and assist with scheduling and posting of online content.

The focus of this role will be directly supporting the design of creative communications content for posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and otak.

com using Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Express. The Graphic Designer will work closely with our Creative Director and Digital Marketing Strategist to maintain brand consistency and best practice in visuals across Otak.

As we work on daily deliverables, this role must be committed to internal client service and be poised under fast-paced pressure.

There will be opportunities to collaborate and learn from Otak’s current creative team in branding, photo and video production, web design, and social media strategy as you work through a variety of internal marketing projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and produce communication assets, including social media graphics, blog / news article graphics, and website updates.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos.
  • Schedule and load social media content in Constant Contact.
  • Design and produce marketing materials, such as interviews, presentations, award submittals, booklets, advertisements, signage, brochures, and proposals.
  • Assist with photography and photo editing for various events and staff headshots.
  • Proofread copy.
  • Communicate regularly with designers, coordinators, and pursuit managers across offices.
  • Work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with Otak’s creative director and marketing team on brand projects.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; graphic design degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in design, layout, and production.
  • Interest in the built and natural environment and the interaction of architecture, planning, and engineering.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; proficient in Adobe Express, Premiere, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate photography skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Constant Contact), WordPress, and Figma.
  • Experience as a strategic, creative contributor to a marketing or communications team.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and work location as well as market and business considerations.

Salary Range : $60,000 - $72,000 per year
