About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Observation Unit, Adult Cardiac Care Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Must have strong cardiac experience License : Registered Nurse license required Certifications : Flu Vaccine required (No exemptions) Must-Have : Minimum of 1-year experience with EPIC EMR Job Description : All travelers are required to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day) based on facility policy.
- Calling out on a holiday may result in immediate termination.- Travelers are expected not to request time off during December 26 - 31 to ensure staffing needs during the holiday season.
- Must float to the Emergency Room as required.- Orientation occurs every Monday and includes 16 hours.- Pre-assignment testing and module completion within 48 hours of receiving login information is mandatory.
- Modules are billable up to 16 hours and are completed pre-start, annually recorded.- Consideration given to nurses with 1+ years of recent experience in the unit.
- Travelers must complete required modules before the start, and hours spent are eligible for reimbursement.- It is mandatory to complete additional pre-start requirements.
Note : Travelers must reside 100 miles away from all facilities to be eligible, with exceptions based on distance criteria for certain specialties.
