Travel ER RN Job Details

Location : Roxboro, North Carolina (27573) – North Carolina nursing jobs

Facility : Full-service hospital with 12-bed Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed hours

Weekend Requirement : Rotating weekends

Call Requirement : No call required

Electronic Health Record : Meditech EHR

Scrub Color : Blue (sweatshirts and t-shirts with scrub pants permitted)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,570 - $1,680

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Proven experience stabilizing trauma patients and preparing for transfer

Preferred : Proficiency with chest tubes, critical drips, and trauma care

Strong teamwork and communication skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Stabilize trauma patients and coordinate patient transfers as needed

Manage a patient load of 1 : 4 to 1 : 6, depending on staffing levels

Operate advanced clinical equipment, including ventilators, BiPAP, and central / arterial lines

Accurately document patient care and interventions in Meditech EHR

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain professionalism and compassionate patient care at all times
