JOB DESCRIPTION
Title : Sales Manager
Reports To : Director of Events Sales
Location : Denver (Required to work out of the Denver Support Center)
1624 Market St. STE. 311 Denver, CO 80202
Responsibilities (including but not limited too)
Events
- Flexibility on hours
- Assist in creating detailed Contract and Banquet Event Orders for specific venues
- Assist and oversee day of event setup and logistics with Restaurant Managers if need be
- Work with venue management to ensure staffing levels for events are adequate
- Greet client at start of event if needed
- Oversee operation of events, handing off to Operations team when necessary
- Liaison with venue management to ensure proper event execution during events
- Ensure that recaps are received, and events are closed properly
- Send follow up Thank You’s after each event
- Oversee the accuracy of events details in BEO Packet that is distributed upon contract signing, discussed in one-on-one Events and Operations meeting, and re-iterated the week before at the Weekly BEO Meeting
- Maintain event SOP’s
- Create with assistance Event SOP’s
- Act as representative for the Event’s team at Weekly BEO Meeting during venue Manager Meeting
- Ensure OpenTable is up to date with Events
- Create menu for venue to print
- Review final receipts from events daily
- Maintain banquet supplies and inventory including but not limited to equipment, AV, etc.
- Research markets to identify opportunities for events
- Responsible for rental and return of event equipment
- Responsible for coordination of outside event services such as security, DJ’s, step and repeats, photographer, etc.
- Participate in the organization of in-house promotional events
- Work with TOG graphic designer for development of fliers and promotional materials
- For each menu update made, ensure updated menus are formatted correctly when printed and that TripleSeat is updated with the new menus
- Outreach that is focused on events
Administrative Responsibilities (including but not limited too)
- Close out month end books, first overview : ensure all Events orders are rung in, revenues are allocated correctly.
- Coordinate and assist Director of Events with all sales calls and website inquiries.
- Submit Weekly Events Sales Report which include : previous week’s revenue, forecasted revenue for the upcoming week, forecasted revenue for the upcoming month, month to date revenue, year to date revenue, new business strategy and initiatives, sales efforts, cold calls, hosted on premise events and attended off premise Events events
- Book Events orders for assigned locations.
- Input Events order details into shared Management Database (Date of event, client contact information, etc.)
- Create Events quotes.
