Job Description :
The Chicago Marriott O'Hare is looking for full-time Room Attendant to join our awesome hotel team! Previous Hotel Housekeeping experience preferred.
Overview :
The Housekeeper will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel areas, while supporting the department and hotel needs to achieve the overall success of the operations.
Responsibilities :
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Make beds and fold sheets
- Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
- Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
- Greet guests and take care of guest requests
- Report any guest room irregularities
- Positive attitude while being a team player
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications :
- At least 1 year experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
- Work duties may include exerting 10 pounds or more of force frequently or constantly by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects.
- Communicate with managers, employees, and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Availability :
Must be available to work days, weekends, and holidays.
