Interim Finance Controller - Atlanta

We are hiring for an Interim Controller to work alongside our Regional Finance Lead in the US. The finance team is evolving, and we are looking for an individual with the ability to offer hands on support to the team through change, acting as a player-coach.

Ability to quickly understand background of the company and industry will be key.

  • Provide leadership and support for the finance team
  • First point of contact on technical accounting matters
  • Support and review monthly financial reporting close of multiple entities to tight deadlines
  • Fields questions from central accounting team in London HQ
  • Works with HR for various payroll tax, benefit, and 401k related needs
  • Coordinates with external CPA firms, and London tax team, for all quarterly / annual tax filings and audits
  • Overseas treasury and cashflow forecasting for the region
  • Produces data analysis and presentations to provide ongoing insight into the business for both the Global CFO and regional CEOs.
  • Evaluates processes and suggests improvements and efficiencies
  • Handle multiple ad-hoc projects simultaneously as needed
  • Support Finance lead as needed on forecasting / KPI reporting / business support
  • Participate in development and training of staff

What we are looking for :

A naturally collaborative accountant who is grounded with strong technical finance and controls principles. A strong sense of accountability for the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting, ideally with demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment.

CPA or ACA required

Public accounting experience with a national firm preferred

Strong understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 especially as it pertains to projects

7+ Years Accounting leadership experience

Proven managerial expertise and background

Experience in the Marketing / Advertising industry huge plus, or professional services business model
