Job Overview

We are seeking experienced pharmacy professionals to support and enhance our Pharmacy Practice. Candidates should have expertise in areas such as 340B optimization, Specialty Pharmacy, PBM design, outpatient infusion, drug expense management, pharmacy enterprise development, and service line integration.

Role Details

  • Job Family : Strategy & Transformation Consulting
  • Travel Required : Up to 75%+
  • Clearance Required : None

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve Pharmacy revenue cycle, including pricing strategies and 340B program implementation.
  • Design and optimize Specialty and Retail Pharmacy and PBM strategies for cost management.
  • Understand end-to-end pharmacy business processes.
  • Develop pharmacy-related solutions, including scope of work, and oversee multiple work streams.
  • Evaluate pharmaceutical distribution processes and review pharmacy technology and automation.
  • Work independently with clients and guide teams in pharmacy solutions and process improvements.
  • Assess, define problems, develop solutions, and manage risks to ensure quality results.
  • Identify value creation opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Collaborate effectively in team environments to deliver innovative solutions.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • University Degree / BS
  • 5-7 years relevant experience; consulting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of 340B requirements and pharmacy operations
  • Experience in Specialty Pharmacy design and implementation
  • Experience with outpatient infusion strategies
  • Analytics and value assessment skills for business case development
  • Excellent communication skills across all staff levels
  • Leadership experience

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • PharmD or advanced degree
  • Pharmacy residency
  • Payer PBM experience
  • Six Sigma Certification

    • Compensation & Benefits

    The annual salary range is $135,000 - $225,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Guidehouse offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
