We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Concrete Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in all aspects of commercial concrete work, including formwork, pouring, finishing, and curing.

As a commercial concrete worker, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining concrete structures for commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail.

Primary Duties :

• Prepare worksites by removing debris and ensuring proper site grading
• Set forms and ensure their alignment and stability
• Pour and finish concrete using appropriate tools and techniques
• Monitor concrete curing process and take necessary steps to ensure optimal results
• Perform concrete repairs and patching as needed
• Operate and maintain concrete equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced workers when necessary

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial concrete work
• Solid knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment
• Proficiency in setting forms, pouring, and finishing concrete
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications :

• Certification in concrete work or related field
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as concrete pumps or excavators

Pay : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
