Title :

  • Part-Time Bus Driver Location : Los Angeles, CA Schedule : Monday – Wednesday (3 days per week) Compensation : Starting at $20 / hour (DOE) We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time Bus Driver to join our team.
  • In this role, you will primarily be responsible for transporting elderly residents to and from scheduled appointments, outings, and events, while also assisting with light maintenance, event setup / teardown, and occasional campus support tasks.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong driving experience who enjoys working in a supportive, community-centered environment .

What You’ll Do :

  • Safely transport elderly residents to and from medical appointments, outings, shopping trips, and other scheduled activities.
  • Provide courteous assistance to residents when boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, lights, and fluid levels, to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate mileage and trip logs , and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Ensure the bus is fueled, clean, and ready for scheduled trips.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company driving protocols, maintaining a safe and professional driving environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management regarding schedules and transportation needs.
  • Respond calmly and appropriately in the event of an emergency or unexpected delay.

    • What You’ll Need to Succeed :

  • At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle operation.
  • Ability to assist with light maintenance, use basic tools, and move / lift heavy items.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must complete required training (Relias classes) monthly in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
