About The Position

Near Madison & Wisconsin Dells $215 / hr (1099) Night Shifts Needed Urgently

Are you a board-certified physician ready to make a meaningful impact in a high-functioning inpatient setting? We’re seeking a Locum Hospitalist to join a well-equipped community hospital in south-central Wisconsin, offering competitive pay and a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Highlights

  • $215 / hr (1099) – premium locum rate
  • Night coverage needed : 7 PM – 7 AM
  • Flexible scheduling No on-call duties
  • Inpatient-only role with full support staff

Clinical Scope

As a hospitalist, you’ll :

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and oversee treatment plans
  • Coordinate care with specialists and allied health professionals
  • Ensure smooth transitions from admission to discharge
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

    • Facility Overview

  • Average daily census : 13–16 patients
  • On-site Emergency Department, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gynecology
  • Full-spectrum Radiology and Lab Services
  • UW Med Flight stationed on-site for critical transfers
  • Located 30 minutes north of Madison and 20 minutes south of Wisconsin Dells—perfect blend of city access and scenic charm

    • Requirements

  • Active Wisconsin license or IMLC eligibility
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Comfortable supervising APPs
