Being independent means physicians can practice medicine as they like. They can refer who they want to for specialty services. Physicians can prescribe the medications they want and not be told by the corporate office not to. Our staff loves working here and many staff have been here 20 years. It is a great place to work. In house moderately complex lab, with a CLIA- license (also a rare thing) We do CBCs , AIC, PSA and T4S in house! Covered licensing malpractice Rapid streps, rapid flus and more. We perform EKGs and spirometry. So the physicians get 20% of all that. These tests are done at time of service so when you talk to a diabetic about their AIC, you have the results right then! We calculate vacation pay by an average of your weekly visits.
