The Role :

Exciting role as the company's Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant. Ideal for a talented and driven business / CPA professional at the mid-stage of their career.

You will lead a small team and be tasked with owning the monthly reporting and day-to-day accounting functions and workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsibility for leading a small accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, managing internal processes and workflows.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end / year-end close processes
• Manage monthly inventory reconciliation process and ensure accuracy of financial reporting on a monthly basis.
• Work with senior management on annual reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage and grow a small team of accounting specialists, providing leadership and fostering cooperation and teamwork.
• Implement and maintain efficient data entry workflows to ensure financial data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal / regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other members of leadership team to analyze financial performance, identify cost savings opportunities, and support strategic decision-making
• Participate in the annual audit process and serve as a point of contact for external auditors
• Continuously evaluate and implement accounting workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Help optimize and streamline inventory and purchasing processes, working with operations team.
• Participate in continuous improvement and MRP / ERP systems initiatives.

Skills & Experience Requirements :

• 5 years in a corporate accounting role; ideally for related manufacturing industries with similar supply chains, logistics, and operational complexities, such as medical devices, electronics, or lighting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred). MBA ideal.
• Strong experience and skills using Quickbooks Enterprise, Netsuite, Salesforce CRM, and MS Office software.
• Strong knowledge of inventory cost accounting.
• Experience with implementation and management of MRP / ERP systems, e.g. Netsuite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
