We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mebane, NC. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement assembly processes and equipment to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product designs for manufacturability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and assembly technicians.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for assembly processes, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in assembly manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
