DESCRIPTION : To provide support to patients receiving services for withdrawal management and crisis stabilization, ensuring the highest level of respect, customer service and recovery-based behaviors.
REPORTS TO : Recovery Specialist Supervisor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY :
Maintain a safe and respectful environment at all times with an emphasis on high quality services and customer satisfaction through hospitality and a thorough understanding of the withdrawal management, clinical stabilization processes..
Facilitate the movement of patients around the building and grounds in a safe and orderly fashion.
Provide transportation for patients and in support of program operations using the program vehicle when needed.
Conduct alcohol and drug screens on patients using an approach that demonstrates respect and dignity for the patients.
Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.
Oversee the patients' participation in daily programming and activities of daily living.
Conduct searches of the building and patient belongings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES :
Minimum of high school diploma or Associates Degree preferred.
Experience in addictions or mental health fields preferred.
Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with patients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
Must have basic ability in use of computers to be able make entries and utilize electronic health records.
Job Type : Full-time / Part time / Perdium
Salary : $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
