Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior electrical leader to become a part of a growing aerospace and defense company.
As a Principal engineer we are looking for someone that understands and has worked in advanced hardware development within the US defense sector.
Responsibilities :
- Drives engineering success by ensuring use of consistent, rigorous engineering processes, tools, methods, standards and techniques.
- The Principal Engineer will be responsible for covering technical presentations, leading technical discussions and covering advanced development of hardware electronics.
- Technical lead teams through major milestones; supporting of electronics proposal development, resolution of technical issues, supporting and supporting the development of new electronics products.
- Become and remain a champion of advanced hardware test, verification, electronics design, and production methodologies.
- Nurture and develop the best practices for electrical design, with focus on high speed digital, FPGA, and further digital design topologies, from concept to production.
Requirements :
- BS / MS in EE or a related engineering field.
- Knowledge of technical topologies : altium designer, and LabVIEW, plus further simulation tools : MATLAB, LTSpice etc.
- Ideally 8+ years of professional experience related to electronics design and project leadership.
- Experience with Flight Systems and termination (FTS) applications, including fuzing and electrical wiring.
- Candidates required to interpret and analyze electrical, and / or electrical specifications and data.
- You must be required to obtain a security clearance for future programs, therefore this role only obtains green card holders and US citizens.
