About the Role :

We are looking for a Director of Sales & Events for a prestigious New York hotel. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving sales for their Food & Beverage outlets while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

You will market and coordinate events, manage accounts, prospect sales, and foster business growth. Collaboration with various departments is essential to ensure seamless event execution and uphold esteemed company standards.

Our client, a luxurious hotel in the heart of New York, offers stunning suites, exceptional wellness and spa options, and exquisite dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the coordination and execution of all events
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
  • Communicate, maintain and develop client relationships
  • Provide leadership, motivation, direction and support to the team
  • Prepare, analyze and present sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership
  • Supervising the design and production of all marketing materials, promotions, and advertisements

Qualifications :

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment or multi-unit food and beverage venue
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Creative visionary that can grow and create sales and events
  • A positive, engaging, and energetic personality, coupled with the ability to be personable with guests and anticipate their needs
