Position Summary

Do you want to apply your skills in advanced analytics and optimization to support asset protection for $20B front stores, implement advanced techniques like generative analytics and monetize data using natural language processing?

The CVS Asset Protection team is looking to hire a talented Sr. Manager to support front store operations. Join us on the journey to develop descriptive and predictive techniques to reduce shrink, drive field operations and increase customer experience with comprehensive analytics and insights.

The Senior Manager will leverage their technical and analytical expertise to drive shrink (Asset Protection) in front store operations.

This includes analytics insights to automate shrink forecast and labor planning, enable field operations and utilize advanced techniques for predictive and prescriptive insights.

The candidate will also use advanced machine learning to optimize tradeoffs and develop scenario models to answer a variety of business questions.

This person will collaborate with business leaders and partners to inform analytics approach, identify quick wins and enable step changes over time.

They must be able to effectively influence and communicate with non-technical audience and promote adoption to drive sustainable impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 10 years of experience in descriptive and predictive analytics including gathering requirements to meet data and technology pre-requisites
  • Strategic mindset and experience leading highly technical initiatives focused on deploying data and analytics solutions in healthcare
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, communicate insights and promote adoption of analytics insights
  • Deep expertise with data modeling / analytics in SQL and Python
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and enable sustainable impact in supply chain

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the common Python libraries used in machine learning projects
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Snowflake.), including querying / mining large datasets and deploying projects on cloud systems.
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile framework.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is :

$124,372.50 - $267,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
