Experienced Line Cook

Perky Beans Cafe in Leander, TX is looking to hire a Full-Time or Part-Time Experienced Line Cook to join our team, with new evening shifts available as we extend our restaurant hours until 8pm . This detail-oriented role uses various cooking methods to prepare menu items in a timely manner, following cafe recipes and instructions.

This position earns a competitive starting wage of $18-$20 / hour . We provide fantastic perks, including weekly pay, opportunities for advancement, free coffee drinks, and a discounted meal each shift.

Duties include (but are not limited to) :

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and use various cooking methods to prepare orders to specified recipes and standards.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
• Perform portion control and minimize waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Clean up station and label, date, and cover leftover food.
• Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the chef.
• Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
