Our client is a leading facilitator of consumer-to-government payments that serves more than 3,000 US municipalities and government agencies.
Through a secure, cloud-based software platform, their products simplify the payment of taxes, fees, fines, bail, child support, and other public payments.
Job Purpose
Drive new revenue by selling payment products and services within assigned territories to assigned accounts.
Essential Duties
- Conduct sales campaigns, understand client needs, and propose appropriate solutions
- Attend conferences and trade shows, as required, to develop relationships, represent our brand, understand our industry, and identify new product requirements
- Ensure that client relationships are maintained and strengthened
- Completes WIN Plan strategy document for each assigned prospect and customer
- Cultivates a list of key contacts within assigned territory
- Contacts prospective customers to determine their needs and identifying the appropriate services for each customer
- Assist customers in their purchasing efforts including RFP preparation
- Coordination and validation of assigned RFP responses for prospects
- Delivery of product demonstrations to customers

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience in direct consultative selling-preferably in a B2G market segment, but not required.
- Experience with sales presentation skills, customer training experience, sales and contract negotiations
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience selling payment processing services to government agencies or equivalent products and services to the same buyers
- Bachelor's degree
