Join the newest product line, Microelectronics, in BAE Systems, Inc. Electronic Sector’s FAST Labs. Work in a highly collaborative environment, and craft a product line Quality function for a never-before ensemble of portfolios.

  • In this Senior Quality Manager opportunity you will make impacts in the following ways;
  • Oversee and represent the Quality function for the product line, which includes science and technology programs, unique IC chip portfolios, and thermal and imaging sensors.
  • Interact with each portfolio’s Quality representative and take a chief role in the unique IC chip portfolios to ensure we can guarantee Quality product delivered from the product line.
  • Work collaboratively with other functions and capability teams, oversee results that support compliant work product, and find opportunities to drive continuous improvement and standardization through the product line.

This may include devising and implementing new inspection, testing, or evaluation procedures that provide evidence of assurance, or applying any Quality Science tool to the value stream.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience with new product introduction, from research and development to production, both internal sources and external suppliers
  • Strong semiconductor understanding, and where Quality actions best support on-time, on-cost, and reliable product delivery.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority.
  • Collaborative team-building experience, with desire to assimilate into many different teams’. environments while working independently to influence, drive success, and grow the business.
  • Well spoken, well written, comfortable from fab or factory floor to executive presence.
  • Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance; Top Secret preferred.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $147300 - $250400

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
