Job Purpose
As an Occupational Therapist for Early Childhood Intervention, you will support families with infants and toddlers birth up to three years old with developmental delays and disabilities, specializing in fine and gross motor, adaptive, sensory, vision, feeding and cognitive delays.
You will provide direct services in the natural learning environment (home or childcare settings) that include occupational therapy and service coordination / case management.
Child & Family Services believes that parenting is a very important role and that every parent / caregiver can be successful.
As an Occupational Therapist for ECI, you will coach parents to learn new skills and techniques to help their children succeed.
You will impact children, families, and the community by supporting the parent-child relationship so that positive outcomes occur and children increase their readiness for kindergarten.
Minimum qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy AND current Texas licensure in Occupational Therapy. Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred but not required.
Experience in pediatrics; experience, training, or certification in breast feeding / lactation, NDT, infant massage, or sensory integration preferred. Spanish-speaking a plus.
Carry and lifting requirements 15-25 pounds.
