About The Position
Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Specialty : Surgical Services - Operating Room Job Duration : 12 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks.
Experience : Minimum 2 years required; first-timers accepted License : South Carolina RN License preferred Certifications : NBSTSA, BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by the agency) Must-Have : Experience with Level 1 Trauma- Willingness to work one weekend shift every 4 weeks- Availability for up to 4 on-call shifts every 4 weeks- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Job Description : Work in a main operating room within a Level 1 academic trauma center- Support surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics- Collaborate with a dynamic team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists- Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season- Work during one of the holiday periods : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years- Ensure completion of pre-start modules and orientation for a smooth commencementNote : Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
