The Manager, Business Development will work directly with constituencies including :

  • Clients, Prospects (typically CFO, CEO) and Private Equity Sponsors
  • Current Executive Team (CEO, COO and CRO)
  • Copley personnel and the Board
  • AIQ Team members

Manager, Business Development

Position Details :

Title : Manager, Business Development

Start Date (Full time) : June 1, 2024

Background :

Proven success in these key experiential areas would demonstrate an optimal fit :

  • Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow margins and profitability via a consultative sales approach
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt for new-logo enterprise customers with a powerful desire to WIN
  • Experience selling complex deals into large organizations
  • Working C- Level Executives (especially in high growth / transitional phases)
  • Superb presentation and negotiation skills
  • Channel management experience is a plus
  • Good understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Technology business functions

Compensation :

OTE : $250-300K annually with no cap on commission

Target Prospects :

Enterprise Direct / Channel Sales

  • Public companies -$500MM-$10B
  • Private companies - $500MM-$10B

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and research potential clients
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Coordinate with internal operation teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
  • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients
  • Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline, maintain sales funnel updates in Company CRM
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Expanding and diversifying client base, primarily organically, which includes both individual selling and managing partnerships
  • Assist with refining sales and marketing materials
  • Conduct ongoing market research

Remote working environment - This role is primarily a remote position with minimal travel required based on client needs.

The candidate will be provided with company equipment but must have their own private office and a good internet connection.

Candidates in Utah and surrounding areas are preferred but not required.

Salaried position with the expectation to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.

The company's primary business is Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. 4 : 30 p.m. mountain time zone. However, employees may be required to accommodate adjusted work hours due to specific circumstances to meet project deadlines, which will be communicated in advance.
