Special Education Teacher
Location : Parma, MI
Employment Type : Full-Time
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Modify curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
- Provide direct instruction in academic subjects and social skills.
- Assess student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents.
- Maintain accurate records and attend meetings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
- Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience in special education.
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Empathy and a passion for working with diverse learners.
