Job Function / Description :
We are looking for a Billing-Invoice Specialist for the Logistics Department. Duties of the Billing-Invoice specialist include providing support to management team and vendors, analyze, audit and billing corrections.
- Process customer / LSP billing accurately and within requested time per their requirements and according to company policy for various divisions
- Manage, analyze & prepare correction forms for billing corrections in access database
- Ability to understand and discuss essential freight documentation that supports charges invoiced and is required for payment
- Possess a knowledge and understanding of how Billing functions affect P&L
- Able to audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts
- Understand of the internal technologies required for daily functions
- Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing
- Complete workload duties within normal and reasonable processing times
- Build positive support and relationships with various vendors
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Timely completion of functional request
- Work well as a team member with other company employees, consultants and contractors
- Performs ad-hoc reporting, as required
- Performs other job-related duties as required
- Flexible to work overtime when needed
- Additional tasks required by Management
- Flexible to work overtime as required
Minimum Qualifications :
- College degree or more than 3 years relevant experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft office suites products and other applications
- Ability to multi-task
- Decision making and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and organizational skills
- Analytical, and excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- May be required to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours or weekend or holidays to meet its business needs
- Ability to work in a team environment while delivering independent results
- Able to work in multicultural environment
