The Role :
Our site in Reno, NV is seeking a Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team, in support of multiple processes and product lines.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support sitewide Continuous Improvement, Capital Spend and Project Management with an emphasis on equipment uptime support and safety.
In this role you will :
Drive continuous improvement projects reducing scrap and improv ing throughput to reduce costs
Prioritize process and equipment safety
Maintain a focus on equipment reliability and uptime
Manage projects and coordinate teams effectively to meet project timelines and budgetary expectations
Develop capital justifications and plans for new equipment, upgrades, or facility improvements
What we seek :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related)
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a similar field a plus
Project Management and Strategic Planning Experience
Outstanding candidates will have :
Experience implementing six-sigma process improvements, and statistical process control
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Ability to identify, influence, and drive cost reductions and process improvement through collaboration
SolidWorks or similar modeling experience, including CNC mill experience
