About The Position

- Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week Experience : Minimum 2 years in Behavioral Health License : Permanent RN license required Certifications : BCLS Must-Have : - Experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR preferred - Fingerprinting completed in the state of Maryland prior to start - Passing drug screen on the first try Job Description : - Behavioral Health RN position in a thought disorder unit- First-timers accepted- Required to work every other weekend- No on-call duties- Clinicians may be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs- RNs may serve as charge RN during a shift without a pay bump- Compliance with vaccination requirements;
medical / religious exemptions for COVID-19 only - Orientation : 16 non-billable hours - Orientation sessions every other Thursday - Compliance documents, including fingerprinting, must be submitted two Mondays before orientation by Noon ESTThis position is in a psychiatric facility with 337 total staffed beds.
Navy blue scrubs are required. Note that candidates with a medical marijuana card, even with a prescription, will not be accepted if they test positive for marijuana during the drug screening.
All RTO must be submitted with the initial profile; any requests after submission will need to be confirmed with the facility.
Former permanent employees must wait one full year before applying for a travel position. Candidates applying for a permanent position must wait one year before they may apply for a traveler position.
