Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer C++ to help build a scalable mapping and routing system to support the company’s growth.
This role requires a strong technical background in building data processing pipelines and APIs.
You’ll collaborate with engineering teams that rely on Map Enablement software, crafting custom solutions and transforming feedback into new features.
Experience in Autonomous driving or Automotive software development would be a big plus.
Key Responsibilities :
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and transparent team culture that encourages creativity and data-driven decisions.
Write technical design documents, participate in design discussions, and review code.
Work with the Map Enablement team and other departments to deliver scalable, cost-effective mapping systems for commercial launch.
Drive operational excellence by developing effective testing and monitoring strategies for services and pipelines.
Join the on-call rotation to help maintain service stability and performance.
Contribute to project planning, working closely with technical product managers to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs.
Clearly document your work and decision-making processes, and lead presentations and discussions in a way that’s easy to understand.
Qualifications :
6+ years of experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language and embedded development (C++ / Python preferred).
Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, EventBridge, Glue, Athena) or another cloud platform.
Background in high-throughput data processing pipelines.
Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable to a diverse workforce.
Strong problem-solving abilities, especially when diagnosing complex software issues.
Experience using source control tools and agile workflows like GitHub and JIRA.
